What We Do
The Egyptian Vaccine Manufacturers Alliance (EVMA) is a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing vaccine production capabilities in Egypt. We focus on supporting public health objectives across Africa through collaboration among key stakeholders.
Localization of Vaccine Production
We strive to establish a sustainable vaccine manufacturing ecosystem in Egypt, ensuring a consistent supply that meets local and regional health needs.
Collaboration with Stakeholders
EVMA is established through partnerships with the Unified Procurement Authority (UPA), Ministry of Health and Population (MOHP), Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA), and local manufacturers, along with various international organizations.
Capacity Building
We work to enhance the capabilities of vaccine manufacturers through training, mentorship, and access to best practices in the industry.
Market Access
Our alliance aims to facilitate access to both local and African markets, ensuring that our manufacturers can compete effectively and contribute to public health initiatives.

- Owning capabilities : Augmenting the capacity of vaccine manufacturers in Egypt, to innovate, develop, produce and deliver a consistent and sustainable supply of quality , safety & efficacy vaccines meeting the national needs at competitive prices
- National self-sufficiency of vaccines & being proactive to ensures timely access to vaccines during pandemics .
- Meeting African needs by harmonization with the African union initiative of 2040 and agenda of 2063 .
